Don't Miss the Downtown Camas Vintage & Art Street Faire!

Don't miss the annual Downtown Camas Vintage & Art Street Faire on August 29th!  Be sure to RSVP on the Facebook event page for reminders, dealer sneak peeks and more!  This event gets bigger and better every year!  We look forward to seeing you there!

New dealers, Maven ambitiously tackled the big window in July and succeeded in restocking throughout the month as large pieces flew out the door!

These ladies did a great job pulling together a look that was classic and chic!

Thank you, Maven!

Jennifer really knocked it out of the park with a fabulous beachy boardwalk display in the small window!  It was a fun look that everyone enjoyed!

See you at the store!

June Windows at Camas Antiques

Deanna of The Doll House filled the June window with loads of great treasures!

Her look was undoubtedly Vintage French Courtyard and we loved it!

All month long, Deanna's fun finds went out the door and she quickly replaced them with new treasures!

Clark and Jennifer collaborated on the small window which featured our store birds, a pair of Zebra Finches named Farrell and Eddy who have recently been growing their little bird family!  Be sure to congratulate these little love birds next time you are in the store.  And if you are interested in adopting a baby Zebra Finch, talk to Clark!  He will be interviewing prospective families!

Thank you to all who worked to make our June Sidewalk Saturday a success!  And, thank you to everyone who joined us for the fun event!

See you at the store!

A Bright and Cheerful Spring at Camas Antiques

Our April and May window displays have brought a burst of bright colors to the storefront and put everyone in the mood for Spring planting and a refresh of both indoor and outdoor décor!

In April, Michelle of My Shabby Passion created an Asian Garden Infusion display with pops of fluorescent green furniture and accessories!

Michelle's window was eye catching and full of treasures!  Thank you for all of your hard work, Michelle!

Amanda of Girl in Pink put together a pastel farmhouse kitchen inspired scene created entirely of furniture and accessories painted with Chalk Paint® Decorative Paint by Annie Sloan!  You can read more about Amanda's painted pieces and see the before photos on her blog, www.onegirlinpink.blogspot.com

The bright colorful theme continued in the big window for May when JoAnn and Jennifer collaborated on a Boho Chic look filled with bold painted furniture, wicker, rattan and flowy, flowery clothing!

What a fabulous and fun look for May!

Cindy really played up the garden shed theme in the small window!  It tied in perfectly with the Downtown Camas Plant and Garden Fair and our Mother's Day Event!  Thank you, Cindy!

We are looking forward to Sidewalk Saturdays, June 6th and July 11th!

March Reflections...and a Big Thank You!

We created an eye-catching display in the big window in March.  With some fun new merchandise mixed with vintage pieces, the rustic garden theme captured the attention of everyone passing by.

The small window was elegant and romantic in golds and greens.  Tommy's beautiful table painted in Annie Sloan's Versailles Chalk Paint® was a hit and sold right away.

Thank you so much to everyone who came to our birthday celebration!  We had a well attended and fun event!  It has been an honor to be a part of this wonderful community for 11 great years!

Join us on May 9th for our sidewalk sale in conjunction with the Downtown Camas Mother's Day plant sale!  Please visit our event page on Facebook for more details!

See you at the Store!

Camas Antiques...Heading into Spring!

February's windows were a big hit with our customers!

Our enthusiastic and energetic dealer, Becky started the month off with a Parisian Café Valentine's Day themed display!

Once Valentine's Day had passed, Becky moved the red accents from the window and brought in more greens and yellows, changing up the look completely!

Thank you for all of your ambition and hard work on the window display, Becky!  You did a fabulous job!

It's so obvious that Jennifer had fun creating this industrial Route 66 look in the small window and it for sure caught the attention of everyone who passed by!  Thank you, Jennifer!

Mark your calendars for our annual birthday event!  Camas Antiques is celebrating 11 years on Friday March 20th and Saturday March 21st!  Birthday cake will be served, dealer sales will run Friday - Sunday and the first 50 customers on both Friday and Saturday will receive a gift of lemongrass soap!  Please head over to Facebook and join our event page!

Remember that Downton Abbey inspired servant's bell board in the window display back in January?  It was such a big hit that Tommy made a couple more!  We have one for sale here in the store and another is listed on Ebay!  Find the auction link here.

Thank you for stopping by!

See you at the store,
JoAnn

Downton Abbey Comes to Camas Antiques!

Amanda of Girl in Pink designed our window displays for January with a fun Downton Abbey theme.  The large window was inspired by the famous Drawing Room,

while the small window represents the Servant's Quarters.

Complete with the Downton Abbey theme song playing softly in the window and a sign welcoming shoppers to the "Downton Abbey in Downtown Camas," the display set the mood for the show's season premiere which aired in the U.S. on Sunday, January 4th.

The impressive servant's bell board was hand crafted by our very own Tommy Taylor!

For January's First Friday, customers dressed up in their Downton Abbey best to explore the windows, test their knowledge of the show with Downton Abbey trivia and discover their aristocratic names!  A great time was had by all!

See you at the store,
JoAnn
